You need training…

For Puppies 16 weeks to 6 months

BOARD & TRAIN is how we fast track your puppies social, environmental and obedience skills.

We spend each day rotating through our training dogs teaching them the following:

- Loose leash walking
- Down/stay
- Place (calm on command)
- Recall
- Social skills with other dogs
- Play outlets for their genetic needs

We send owners photo/video updates during the week. This keeps owners up to date with their dogs progress.

Once the training puppies complete their 2 week stay we do 1 of 3 human training lessons. This covers everything the puppy learned and the new training routine owners will implement when they take their puppy home from boarding.

Once a puppy hits 6 months it is time for phase 2 where we do the remaining 2 training lessons covering off leash training & any behaviour modification that is necessary to ensure all dogs mature confidently and safely.

This is when training teams “GRADUATE” to lifetime training support. You will also have the opportunity to try out for our GRC Drive Sports Club once your puppy is old enough.

PHASE 1 - HANDS ON TRAINING

Clients will all be required to attend hands on private training in this program. We encourage EVERYONE in the home who will be influencing the dog to get involved. If we are not all on the same page it can effect the success of the dog.

Lessons can be arranged weekly of bi-weekly or monthly depending on the material we are covering and our clients distance from us. Every dogs training plan will be unique to dogs needs.

We will provide you with all the necessary training equipment and resources along the way. You will be given written homework with reference videos and resources.

Once a program begins we are available at anytime for guidance, questions or extra material.

Once we have reached a point in your program that your dog is now neutral to triggers, verbally reliable with commands and E-collar trained you will be graduated to lifetime online support in our Chaos Community Group.

Phase 2 - BOARDING & TRAINING

This is in some cases added into a program once a dog is ready for more intensive training or exposure. This is adding in at the trainers recommendation.

This can be a helpful training opportunity for dogs struggling with reactivity and aggression. These stays can be anywhere from 1 - 3 week stays.

PHASE 3 - LIFETIME GROUP SUPPORT

All our graduated clients have access to this forum for the LIFETIME of their dog. This is used as a management tool to work dogs through long term reactivity/aggression issues as well as promote a solid foundation for puppies learning the world around

them.

This will also be where we post about pop up client classes and drop in opportunities when good weather allows.

We ONLY board dogs we have trained. Which means we CANNOT board dogs who are currently exhibiting outward aggression to dogs or people and will need to discuss some additional work to prep a certain dogs for this option.

If your dog has a BITE HISTORY it will also be required to have the dog fully muzzle trained to attend any group classes. Although we do not always need to have the dogs muzzled there are some circumstances it will be required. (We will provide you with homework exercises to condition your dog comfortably.)

Whether you are a pet dog owner, a dog enthusiast or a professional we can all benefit from sharing knowledge. We are highly experienced in reactivity/aggression and drive based behavior problems.

We offer virtual coaching as well as self study access to our extensive behavior training library. Virtual coaching is available via WhatApp or Messenger.

We offer several helpful seminar/workshops that can be booked by a host or a small group of dog/handler teams.
