JAY JACK - PLAY AS THE WAY
WE ARE THRILLED TO WELCOME BACK GRC DOG-SPORTS CREATER JAY JACK TO HOST HIS HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER “PLAY AS THE WAY” SEMINAR!
DATE: JUNE 13-15 2025
LOCATION: Condor, Alberta, Canada
GRC Dogsports is a new breed of dog sport and we are proud to say we at CHAOS CANINE COMPANY are the first club of its kind in Alberta!
It seeks to celebrate and test not only the dog’s gameness (G), but the relationship (R) with the handler, and the dog’s self control (C). Even though we are doing the drive sports associated with the APBT (American Pit Bull Terrier), we are open to all breeds. The sports we offer competition in are: Treadmill Race Weight Pull Wall Climb Spring Pole
SEMINAR TOPICS
DAY 1
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOUNDATIONS & SR TESTING DAY
This will discuss the concept of using play based training to teach the skills needed for social responsibility. Participants will learn the several novel ways to use food including the Treat Chase Game, and how to use structured Personal Play.
You will learn the Red Light Green Light Game on a retractable leash, as well as Pressure And Release, and a complete system of tactical leash handling skills. The Rub Down to put relaxation on cue will also be covered.
This Seminar should give you all the skills you need to prepare to pass GRC Dogsports Social Responsibility Test if you choose to pursue that goal.
We will be confirming a sanctioned SR Trial for the Friday evening of the weekend! Stay tuned for that confirmation
